The evening served as a direct portal into the world behind The 8rooklyn 8at, introducing guests from around the world to experience a bold, independent storytelling movement rooted in hip-hop culture, anime aesthetics, cinematic world-building, and social commentary.
At the center of the evening was a live anime film preview, offering guests a first look at the latest release from the 8rooklyn 8atman universe. Through cinematic animation, comic-inspired visuals, and original soundtracks, attendees were introduced to Plague of the Dark Generation, the narrative driving the expanding 8rooklyn 8at mythology.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Cannes Film Festival, and currated by Imani Jones and FYID NYC, the immersive experience unfolded through a curated series of cultural moments, including the Seeds in the Concrete book display and creative showcase, complimentary Solduke wine tastings, live DJ sets, and an exclusive fashion and merchandise presentation featuring the latest Seeds in the Concrete collection.
